Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my seven favorite wedding pictures of 2011. I was lucky enough to witness some beautiful moments, see family and friends and travel to Lexington and Washington DC.
Brittany and Curt (above) were game for pretty much any portrait idea. I love how this turned out and Brittany’s toes pointing straight down. Plus, Curt looks like he’s enjoying this a little too much.
I am so thankful to have witnessed an old friend’s wedding out in DC. Katrina + Lance, I will be seeing you two soon. (See their full wedding here.)

And I made some new friends. Emily + DJ (above), thanks! You two rock. And were so much fun to work with. (See their full wedding here.)

What a fantastic way to close out my wedding season! Brittany and Curtis were all smiles and full of great ideas. Brittany’s Autumn-themed bouquets and boutonniéres were the perfect complement for the sunny, crisp weather and golden leaves. After the Patti’s Settlement ceremony, the bridal party met at Lighthouse Landing for some extra fun pictures. Plus, the reception was at one of my favorite places in Paducah, the Irvin Cobb.

Bubbles and engineers and fashion, oh my! Grace and Kenny’s Lexington wedding had a little bit of everything. Starting with a classic wedding in stain glass-filled sanctuary at the Maxwell Street Presbyterian. After a small reception and a portrait session at the UK engineering building (thus the elevator), everyone convened on Keeneland for tailgating, a plethora of Schafly brews and classic southern catering. BBQ + baked beans + hash brown casserole, yes please!
