The Encampment

I used to love running around the encampment as a child, rummaging through the toys and watching Native Americans chip flint into arrow heads and tools. I think I enjoy it almost as much today. The Encampment is a two-day festival held at Massac State Park in Metropolis, full of Revolutionary War-period reenactors.
